Japan Trip Day 4 - Tokyo (19/3/2010)

HAH HAH HAH.
So usually I would say that I love my breakfast here.
But today...
We stayed at the traditional tatami style hotel last night.
So,
our breakfast won't be the modern western buffet style.
Its gonna be...
the traditional style.
T______T

My mum said that 'siu mai' looking thing at top right corner tasted like rotten 'siu mai'.
So I gave up eating that. *Feeling sick*
This goes with rice I think.
Stuff myself full with the rice.
The egg roll is sweet..
The weird looking vege taste ok..
AND..
I ate the fish... O.o

Not only me, my bro and sis said it ain't good too.
So, it wasn't all me. =p

So we are off to Mount Fuji after we checked out from the hotel.

There are snow everywhere! =p
*Looking outside my bus window*

We can't drive until the top of the mountain because it will be quite slippery.
Dangerous >___<
So we stopped at station 5 aka 2020m on Mount Fuji.
The whole mountain is around 3776m.

Mount Fuji!!

My family =)

Mah parents. =)

My sis so happy playing with dirty snow.
EEEEEEE... =p

Another crazy theme park at Mount Fuji here.
I think its called Fuji Theme Park?

Arrived at Tokyo, bleh.

Their petrol station is different from ours.
Their pumping gun is on top?
(tengah gantung at the air)
I wonder how can I reach it. =p

So many vending machine outside.
Nice way to tell people what you have inside by sticking all those notice on the wall.

My tour guide said that this area is the
chicken & duck area.
Ahem.
I think you all should understand. =p
(Look at the girls on the advertisement board)

Non-Step Bus?
The how are we suppose to go up?

I don't understand why this telephone stand is so huge.
Is it for handicap people?
Because it has a logo there.
So normal people cant use it?

We arrived at the oldest Buddhist temple in Japan.
Asakusa Kannon Temple.
浅草雷门观音寺

Look at the dragon.

There's a lot of shops selling souvenirs and food.

Are they twins?
I meant the dogs. =p

So much to see.

Cute!

Resting outside the temple after the walk.
There's free flow of hot green tea available.
So nice. =)

Don't blame me for taking all the photos of toilets.

As a Malaysian,
I can't tahan to envy other countries having such clean and nice toilets.

Malaysia's toilet is overall the same design,
dirty,
disgusting.

I feel this toilet is special because
all the toilet slots are round. =)

I waited till the crowd is away only I took the photo.
I'm afraid people will thought I'm a pervert. XD

Saw this tricycle when I was crossing the road.
He actually pose and smile for us when he saw us taking his photo.
Japanese are just so nice.

The owner is animal abusing her dog.
She's riding on a bicycle and her dog had to run the same speed.
Pity weh.
It's that kinda police dog that we always watch in HK dramas. =p

This is the Rainbow Bridge.
It is a suspension bridge crossing northern Tokyo Bay between
Shibaura Pier and the Odaiba waterfront development in Minato, Tokyo.

The view from Rainbow Bridge.

This reminds me of Leni. XD

The cow on the top of the shelf is actually sold in Malaysia too.
You can buy it for RM20-30 in Ipoh.
But for Tokyo,
they are selling 7350 yen per cow. WTH.
Around RM270+??
CRAZY.

Welcome to the world of Hello Kitty. =)

This are clothes for your teddy bear!!
So adorable!!
I wonder if my monkey kapo can wear this.

This is actually one set of robot dolls that can sing and dance.
They dance in the same tempo.
Its so damn cute!!
Not to mention, so damn expensive too.
If I'm not mistaken, it should be around RM30 for each.

My sis and me saw this.  ♥ ♥
Aarrrrrghhhh..
Its so nice!!!

I love this iPhone casing a lot.  ♥ ♥

Its nice but,
its kinda scary if my hp is like this.
XD

Welcome to the shoe heaven.

Boots!

@.@

I still don't believe that Japanese's second language is English.
They crack a lot of jokes. =p

Look at this.
FAINAL PRICE.
Do they mean FINAL price or am I the stupid one who do not know the meaning of FAINAL?

What do you think? =p

Buy this for your baby.
Stylish.

Camwhore a bit in the toilet.
I sengaja take my sis in the photo one. =p

How come English version is so short? XD

Is this Atm machine?
I think Malaysia should have one to avoid people peeping your pin number.
But another thing is,
later kena rompak inside also nobody know.
Hmmm...better not to have hor? XD

My favourite product here.
I'm so happy to see this.
Cant buy it in Malaysia!
CURE Natural Aqua Gel.

This is the Toyota City Showcase.

The colour is so striking =)

Japanese promote their car in a different way.
LOL.

Whats with all the flowers ar?

This looks like a concept car.
Are they really selling this?
Dangerous going over bumpers cause the car is so low.

I can actually ride this!
Doesn't require any balance right?? LOL.

Yeah I want this. LOL.
YENG.

After that we went to some place that I couldn't recall the name.
I will just name this as branded stuff area. =p

You can see the Salvatore Ferragamo building there.

Mah parents are desperate about Burberry.
So we rushed to the Burberry building.

On the way, we passed by this Yamaha building.
This is such a grand building!!

Here we are.

Found Emma Watson all over the shop because
she's the spokesperson for the spring collection.

The lift inside the building.
Too many floors.
9 floors.

Parents busy choosing in the Men's section.

We went to my parent's favourite place.
Swarovski crystal.
(My mum with her big shopping bag from Burberry)

Swarovski crystal stairs!!
The nicest stairs ever!!
I wish I could have one of this in my house. YERRRRR.

All the crystals inside the steps are actually seashells crystals.
I have a lot of them at home.
But this is seriously A LOT here. O.o

I kena caught from the sales girl from upstairs.
"No photo inside the shop, thank you."
ARRRRRRR...I don't care so much already. =p

The Shiseido building.
Shop till you drop.

Japan hotel actually provide us with shiseido facial wash and hand wash.
LOL.
My friends even asked me why I didn't da bao some back to Malaysia.
Crazy =.=||

Passed by the Yamaha building again at night.
There was piano performance going on! WOOAHHH..

Our dinner tonight.
Steamboat. =)

Dad is super hungry.

We went back to the hotel and we walked out ourselves.
Without the tour guide.
Means no translator. AHEM.
We wanted to try ramen since its not included in the tour meals.

We came across this ramen shop here.

My sis and bro inside the ramen shop.

I was actually relieved when we can order from vending machine.
Just pay and press which one you like.
Collect the receipt and pass it to the waitress inside the shop.

There was a story about our ramen trip. =X

When we were busy discussing which one is ramen on the machine,
the waitress was so kind to come out from the shop,
and asked us how many person we have and what we want to eat.

I assumed that ramen was Japanese word,
so I asked her, "Ramen..??"
Then she blur-ed for a while and pointed me all the rice and said,
"xxxx rice, xxxx rice, and xxxx rice."
(the xxxx was in japanese which i don't understand)
I was like why the heck you show me rice when I wanted ramen?

I then assumed she know what is "rice" and she know what is "NO".
So I said, "No rice no rice"
(Better use easier nouns ar)
Then she showed me all the wan tans instead.
...........
.................
Then I'm forced to smile with her and say never mind.
I wonder if she even understand.
Just giving her to run away from something that she wouldn't want to start. XD

So we match the words on the board and the vending machine
to get what we want.

Finally ended up inside.
After so many drama and confusion. XD
Claps for me!!

We are basically in those traditional small ramen shop that we saw in tv.
Eat at the counter and the kitchen is just in front us.

Even the "rebus mee" process is done by machines.
All they have to do is just add the ingredient inside.

The waitress did ask me a bunch of stuff after I gave her my receipt.
&(*^*&$%^#%&&*((*())*(^$&^&%^*@#
(not rude words, but japanese)
I will just go, "HUH..??" with a blur face.
Sorry, but I really don't understand.

Then she spilled out 3 words slowly.
Soft, Hard, Normal?
LOLLLL I assume that was asking me whether I want my noodle to be
Soft, Hard, or Normal.
XDDDD

This is what my sis and my bro got.
My bro's spicy one taste good.
But my sis one taste like rubbish. LOL.

We are suppose to put the noodle inside the spicy soup there to eat.
If I eat it my way, I'll pour all the soup into the big bowl. XD

My ramen!!
This taste really good wehhh..
It cost 820 yen.
Around RM33++

A random street in Tokyo at night.

Rice also order through vending machine punya.
The reason is because the human resource fee here is too expensive.
Better use machine.

We bought these cakes for supper on the way back to the hotel.
Tasted so good!!
Better than secret recipe I can say. =p

The one thing about Japan,
how come all the shops close so early?
The shops basically close at 8pm.
What Japanese do at night then?
No entertainment weh. O.o

But I think its still better than Europe countries.
Because their shops closes at 5pm.
O.o
So working people don't have to go shopping?
I only can do window shopping after dinner when I was in Switzerland last time.

Biasa with the 10.30pm closing time in Malaysia. XD
