I know I'm slacking off again.
So here I am updating my trip to Spain last month.
This is the small cafe that we have our breakfast in the hotel.
I think we came down too early, therefore we are sitting there waiting for breakfast.
My favourite style of breakfast. =)
Croissant!!!!!!
Me outside my hotel room balcony again.
I really love this view haha.
Not what great sea view, but the city view.
I love the architecture of the buildings in Europe.
This is a polaroid photo taken outside our balcony again.
Haha I know I know. As I said, I really like this view ok? XD
So today we have paid a short visit to the oldies city - TOLEDO.
It was previously the capital of Spain.
Now the capital of Spain is MADRID.
So this is the view of the old side of the Toledo city on the right,
new side of Toledo city on the left.
Dad and mum in the old Toledo city.
Women's natural habit.
Shopping shopping shopping.
Our visit to Toledo is mainly visiting this unique old town and this church called
Toledo Cathedral.
I must say this is one of the favourite church out of all the ones I have visited.
The interior design is magnificent!
The music room.
This window decoration is seriously OMG.
The close up shoot of the window decoration.
This whole wall here is sculpt outta marbles.
Oh my, the things people can do.
I get dizzy every time I try to look up to the ceiling paintings.
How can they do that?
I would ever understand as I'm so afraid of heights.
Eeeek!
Royal crown!
Oh god I think my dad bought one of these knight decoration thingy back home.
We have to carry this all the way from Madrid > Barcelona > Amsterdam > Malaysia.
I dun think is exactly this design but I guess its something like this.
I did not follow him when he bought the thing gosh.
Jamom = Ham?
I'm guessing so la haha.
They seriously love ham so much and Spain is really famous for their ham.
I guess if my dad could, he would carry this knight back to Malaysia.
Just some random shoots of my sis and me in the town.
Ok and its turn for lunch again!
We have bread for every meal here.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner.
I'm not exactly sure,
but I think this is some kind of bean soup that is very thick.
Taste quite good actually... just a bit salty.
Spaghetti!
Ok I do admit its one of my favourite food since I came here cause it tasted normal.
Unlike the other weird ones... lol...
So today is the last time we are having this fish & chicken concept dinner.
I really blame the tour guide for this to happen.
How could you book 50% chicken and 50% fish when you know majority people would want to have chicken instead of fish.
How many Chinese can have just a piece of fish for dinner??
Ok, that's just my logic.
Cause seafood is really not my thing.
NO NO to seafood. Eeeekk!
So here's the waiter serving the fish to the people having it.
Seriously the whole fish.
That is so disgusting.
Errrr....
And here's this guy serving my chicken!!
The chicken taste really good.
Not tasteless and not too salty.
Just nice!
I was impressed hahahaha.
And this is our dessert.
Strawberry yoghurt I guess.
Did not have a chance to finish it cause mum was rushing me to go shopping.
I hate how limited time we have for shopping T______T
Stressful shopping time cause we have a domestic flight to catch after this.
The tour train inside the old town of Toledo.
So, we had a few hours inside the Madrid Airport before we depart to Barcelona from Madrid.
We did some shopping again in the airport without fail wahahahaha.
Chupa Chups vending machine!
I think it cost 50 cents euro or something. Forgot forgot.
I like this carrrrrr!!!
Audi A1 Sportback!
I've checked the Audi Malaysia website.
Seems like this model is not sold in Malaysia.
They only have the one with 2 doors in Malaysia.
GAHHHH...
Ok so about the our domestic flight from Madrid to Barcelona.
We took a lot of flights this trip.
But this only flight we did not take KLM,
instead we took an airline in Spain called IBERIA.
Oh my we had this delayed flight for freaking 1 hour and the flight is just suppose to be 1 hour!
Delay and delay. We reached Barcelona around 8pm+++
and by the time we reach the restaurant its already 9pm++....
Near European's supper time I should say... =______=
This tuna soup thingy with mussel in it.
Not bad, but as usual, seafood.
This is their famous black pig ham or what... I just direct translate from Chinese so forgive me for not knowing the real name of it haha.
It is served with super sweet honeydew.
The others ate it together.
According to them, its a very good mixture of salty ham and sweet honeydew.
I did not try that cause I think its very weird. I just ate it seperately haha.
This is the famous beer in Barcelona.
Chinese goes Yum Singggg~~~~~~~~
A must eat when you come to Spain.
Something you will find it almost in every restaurant in Spain.
Paella!
I don't know this portion is actually for how many person.
The waiter just take one plate out for us to take a photo of it.
After we are done with the snapping photo,
the waiter brought the plate back into the kitchen to separate it into small plates.
This is to make sure everyone gets the equal amount of things in each plate.
You know cases like some people take more some people get less do happen if we separate it ourselves... so its a good idea they did that for us too!
I liked the taste of it,
but I regret squeezing the lemon on the rice as my dad told me to...
It tasted so weird after I did that... AHHHHH REGRET. =(
Everyone busy eating eating eating.
I'm just playing around with the prawn / lobster I don't know.
Gave it to my dad after that hahahaha.
Dessert dessert dessert.
Ice cream!
Actually I just like something that taste simple.
After dinner, we arrived at our hotel for the following 3 days!
I'm glad that I stayed here for 3 nights haha.
One thing I love a lot about Hotels here in Spain is they provide us free WiFi!
All you have to do is get the user name and password from them at the reception counter.
I can access Facebook and the internet after I return to the hotel every night!
You can also use Viber for all you want to make calls back to Malaysia.
The only thing is, when we reach hotel is already about 9-10pm Spain time,
which is about 4-5am in Malaysia?
Whose gonna chat with me at that kinda time? T______________T
Unlike the time I went to Japan, NO FREE WIFI AT ALL.
I felt like I've lost connection to the world.
Our hotel room =)
Got connected rooms with my parents in this hotel.
I know I know, I feel like a kid that need to stick with the parents.
=p
I saw this writing on the corner of the mirror,
and I thought it was somebody's prank by writing on the hotel's property.
Turns out they have this writing on the mirror in every room!
So its not a prank or whatsoever...
Just a message from the hotel? Asking us to own the city?
Shall continue my Barcelona days in the next post!
CHAOS!
