Japan Trip Day 3 - Fuji Hakone (18/3/2010)

Finally I had time to update this.
Started my class the next day I came back from Japan.
The time table is so packed!!
Everyday my class will be around 8.30 to 4-5.
Worst still, Tuesday.
8.30 to 5.30 of non stop classes.
Its nice to have Friday off.
But this is really too much. =((

Anyways, this is the day 3 stuff in Japan.

As usual, my favourite.
Breakfast buffet!! LOL.
You can actually tell that I take the same thing everyday. XD

There's no more table for 5 available when we came down to the restaurant.
So mum and dad "chang toi giok".

This is the rubbish car in Japan.
Its damn damn damn clean!!!
Malaysia ones you don't have to look at it to tell its a rubbish car,
you can just sense it coming from far because it smells so damn bad!!

I came across this very funny toilet bowl.
The one and only time I saw this weird toilet bowl with flushing sound adjustments.
XDDDDDD
Why do you want to adjust the volume anyway? LOL.

I wanted to buy one from this vending machine.
But I didn't.
Urgh regretted!

The convenience store that is seen everywhere here in Japan.
Family Mart.

If only I could buy all of these back.
I should have do so. YEE!!!!
There's my sister browsing through the stuffs.

I found this protein water in Family Mart.
Errrr... I wonder how it taste like?
Its white like soya bean.

Dad have a habit of collecting nice soft drink cans.
So we're buying some!
My sis have a lot of weird poses
when she wants to buy something from the vending machine.

The special cans we got from the vending machine.
The left one is a famous soft drink here in Japan called Fanta.
It taste exactly like  F&N Grape. XD
The middle one is the Pepsi Zero Calorie.
Cant find it in Malaysia. =(

Was in the bus and I captured this.
Fuji Mount!!
HEH HEH HEH HEH!!

If I'm driving in Japan,
I certainly wont understand this road sign.

This is our lunch for today.

UNAGI aka eel rice aka 鳗鱼饭.
This was my sis's favourite.
I offered half of mine to her,
but she didn't want.
According to her, it wouldn't be so nice if she over eat it. O.o

This Unagi is costing around 2000 yen.
Its around RM70-80.

The 2 bottles here is all the spices thingy that you can add in your rice.
I know it contains wasabi.
I don't know how it tasted like because I didn't try any of it. XD
I couldn't give any reviews because I don't like the smell of wasabi itself.

I wonder what is the garlic looking thingy in that bowl.
Looking quite gross to me. =p

After lunch,
we came to this place called
Owakudani Volcano Valley.

This place smell damn bad because its all sulphur gases!!

Guranteed no snakes around! XD

Can you see the parking lot from FAR?
We walked all the way from there to up here.

There's a famous food here that you must eat.
The Black Shell Eggs.

If you eat 1, then you add 7 years more of life.
Serious ke?
LOL.

Everyone is eating in such smelly environment ar.
I'm dying over there.
My parents said because I'm a snake. O.o

This is where you can buy the eggs.
Mum's hair made her look like a crazy women here.
The wind blew it mer.
XDDDD
*The left one in the photo*

Mum bought 5 of these.
Each get 1.

My bro, sis and me ate our eggs in the bus.
Cant tahan the environment up there.
Damn smelly weh.

Mum and Dad can actually eat this here. OMG.
I'm near to puking already.

The 3 famous ice-creams in Japan is
Green tea, Wasabi, and Egg ice-cream.

We ate the green tea one yesterday,
so we tried out the egg one here today!

Mum tried out the milk one.
It actually taste like normal vanila ice-cream that you can get in McD la. =X
But the egg one was good!

Hey Missy!
Its so cold here and you're in shorts again. XD
Why bring the dog up the busuk mountain??
O.o

We sailed on the cruise in
Lake Ashi.
It is known as the most beautiful lake in Hakone.
The ship itself is so nice!!

There's lift inside the ship XD
But I didn't take it of course.
Just take the stairs!

My dad and me on the cruise.

I saw this outside the window and I was amazed.
Very nice view.
There are dried grass all over the place.

Our next stop is the
Peace Park.

Dad & sis. (p/s: she's my younger sister. ok?)

Ever tried banging the big bell that sounds so nice?
HEH HEH. We did.

There wont be a lot of my photos here because all my photos is in my dad's camera.
I took a lot of my sister's photo so I'm kinda putting all her photos in my blog. =))

Unfortunately this week is not the sakura blooming week yet.

Next 2 weeks is going to be.

If only my mum won't mind about us skipping class and go 2 weeks later. =((

How nice would it be if its all filled with sakura already and not just dried trees.

Saw one in the middle of no where.

There are different kinds of kuan yin here.
Until the end that you cant see. HAHA.
All of them have different meaning.
We actually pray to each of them.
*Fast mode*

We drive pass this very special designed restaurant.
Looks like an Igloo

Today's hotel is a bit different with the other typical western types.
Its the Japanese traditional tatami style hotel.

We found this in our hotel lobby.

This reminded me about Pokemon. LOL.

Our hotel room.

The bed is actually quite comfy.
We just sleep on the blanket.
No air cond cause its winter here.
Don't have to cover blanket lo =p

I really love this corner a lot.
♥ the view outside.
♥ the quietness.
♥ the design.
♥ the green tea too. =p

I don't know why,
but I just can open the fridge. LOL.
Cause the weird thing is I couldn't open it again the next day.

Beer anyone? =p

We're having our dinner in the hotel tonight and
we had to wear the yukata provided by the hotel when we go down for dinner.
Its the same size for male and female so its way too LONG for me.
Almost fell down cause I keep stepping it.

Here's my sister trying to comb her hair when she's in her yukata.
Sitting like a mafia.
OWH DAI GAH JIE!!
XDDDDD

Our long dinner table.

Each people get 1 set of these. O.o

I don't know what is this.
I just ate it all. XD

This is the sashimi boat that doesn't come with the tour money we paid.
We had to pay extra for this if we want it.

If you eat want seafood, its better to eat it at places near the sea.
Its cheaper and of course, fresher!
If you eat it at Tokyo, it will be much more expensive.

This usually cost around RM500-600 in Malaysia?
I'm not sure, the tour guide said so. =p

But this only cost 10000 yen here in Fuji Hakone area.
Around RM380? Much cheaper right?

My parents ordered 1 boat since they are craving for sashimi so much.
Especially my mum.

My sister's hair is kinda funny here. XD
Busy eating busy eating.

This is a monster aka my brother.
Eating the lobster head.
What can he find in there actually?
Brain? O.o

Where can you actually find this kinda games now?
Malaysia is kinda outdated.

So actually you still can find some of this in Ipoh.
HAHAHAHAHA PAISEH!

But I'm quite amazed to find this in Japan.
Traditional Japanese hotel memang traditional!!! XD

Iic crem?
Errr... do you mean lick the cream?

Usually 150 yen?
And may I ask when is the unusual time?
HAHAHAHAHAHAA.

We're trying to login to facebook using the computer in the hotel lobby.
The website is all in Japanese. O.o
Unfortunately the hotel blocked Facebook!!
Why????? LOL.

*From left: Bro, sis, dad, and Joann typing over there.*

I find it very hard to understand this keyboard.
LOL.

The corridor outside our rooms.

There's actually hot spring in the hotel itself.
But!!
You have to be ahem, naked to be in there.

No towels, no nothing.

Well, they'll give you a handkerchief size towel to....

COVER YOUR FACE???

LOL by doing that people won't know who you are. XD
Logical??

My mum, sis, and me didn't go though.
LOL. We still cant accept that.
Feels so weird.

We cant go out for a walk outside the hotel after dinner
because the whole area is just hotels!
O.O
Just stick inside the hotel room and watch tv.
Watching those programmes that we don't understand. =p
