So this is how it looks like early in the morning in Osaka
outside my hotel room window.
We wanted to cool down our hot water by putting it beside the window.
I don't like seafood.
Therefore, I don't like Japanese food.
EEEWWWWWW.
So the best part of the day for me would be breakfast!
*I get international breakfast from hotel*
XDDDDD
We had to get out from the hotel at 8.45am to continue our tour.
So we came down to eat our breakfast at 7am. XD
Well, we need 1 hour to slowly enjoy our meal.
HEHE.
The special thing that is they added their own thing inside the buffet.
They serve us Udon and porridge too.
Choose the ingredient you like yourself.
There was 2 kids beside my table when I was eating breakfast in the hotel breakfast.
They left earlier than us.
One of the kid, bang on the big mirror with his head at the hotel lobby.
The mirror was smashed!!
But the amazing thing is,
the kid wasn't hurt at all.
LOL??
My tour guide said,
the umbrella here could be very expensive.
Maybe up to RM1000??
So,
they have to lock their umbrella in this umbrella parking slot.
Don't you think Malaysia actually need this too?
Not that our umbrellas are expensive,
but sometimes we just don't know where to place it.
After breakfast,
we head to one of the train station in Osaka to take the famous
Bullet Train.
Our train ticket from Osaka to Kyoto.
The Bullet Train.
Lets get in. =p
Bro and a uncle from the tour.
There are very limited rubbish bin you can find in Japan.
Why?
Well, they are trained to bring back the rubbish and throw it at home.
But if you do see some rubbish bins, they must be separated.
Arrived at Kyoto!!
In the station.
Don't these pies just look so delicious??
This is what I call pies!!
Don't get fool by the dummies on the shelf.
Its not real.
Just for display purposes. =p
The shop names are so weird.
Three Minutes Happiness?
Why buy it then? XD
According to my friend, Evon,
we can just put on the clothes for 3 minutes and then take it off again.
Cause we're not buying it.
Nothing to do cause we were waiting for our bus to arrive at the station.
It takes only 15 minutes to reach Kyoto from Osaka by bullet train.
But our bus need 1 hour plus to reach Kyoto.
Saw this bus after I come out from the train station.
Princess Line?
So only princesses are allowed to ride on?
Reached our destination.
Heian Shrine.
There's a big group of high school students visiting too.
Schools here like to organize trip to shrines
to enable the students to understand their own culture more.
Mum & Sis washing their hands and mouth with the Holy water.
Its freezing cold!!!!
Divination.
I don't quite know what is the reason they tie it here.
Mum told me if they get the bad ones they will tie it here.
Is it so?
A friend told me that if its good it will be tied tailed facing up,
and if its bad then it will be tied tailed facing down.
Which one is true?
The wishes the people made.
I found one super nice.
Some one actually drew it. =O
Went to the Kimono Textile Center to watch Kimono Show.
There's a old grandpa drawing this.
Skilled.
The Kimono Show.
Elegant bow at the end of the show.
Wearing Kimono is a tough case.
You can't drink a lot of water because its quite troublesome to go to toilet.
You'll have to help each other out when you really need to go to toilet.
And its so tight, you can't walk fast.
We had our lunch at the Kimono Center.
Stupid tempura prawn set again. O.o
I rather eat a simple bowl of ramen weh!!
Feel so dizzy when I see these small portions and many bowls.
I usually don't eat prawns.
But in Japan,
I'm forced to eat the tempura prawn every meal.
Its the only normal food in the whole set. O.O|||
One of the thing I love about Japan is their vending machines!!
Its everywhere!!
My sis and me tried out our first vending machine drink here.
All drinks are around 120-150 yen.
Means around RM4.50 to RM5.70.
A bit expensive compared to Malaysia I might say?
But its normal in Japan here cause their living standard is higher.
We saw the 2 aunties in our tour drinking green tea.
So we get ourselves a green tea also?
Is this green tea? OR NOT?
We just tembak saje.
Well, UNFORTUNATELY,
It taste really really bad.
Taste like hangus tea.
EWWWW DAMN GROSS.
We had only 1 sip of the tea and we threw it away. XD
I forgot what temple name is this.
But its has a long street selling lotsa stuff before we can reach the temple on the mountain.
The Japanese students have uniform and their bags are the same too.
I guess its part of their uniform?
Sometimes in Japan, its not about which school is more famous like it is in Malaysia.
Its about which school have nicer uniforms. XD
ITS TRUE!!!
I discover that Japanese girls like to dress up nicely in Kimonos and go to the temple.
And I thought that just happens in my comics. XD
They felt paiseh when they see me taking their photos. =p
When we were on our way up the temple,
we saw sakura tree!
Look at my sis's happy face.
I thought why was everyone surrounding the smoke.
There's always a reason.
Its like for blessing. I went to have some smoke on me too. =p
Dad was like asking me,
"Did that girl over there wear any pants inside?"
XDDDDDD
Girl,
you are way too pro!
Don't you know what is cold??
Its freaking 10 degrees girl!!
And the wind is BLOWING~~
I wish I could go back to that weather now.
Shake it shake it.
Touch the same part on the Buddha where which part on you is suffering from pain.
I guess dad is having some pain on his shoulders?
All the love luck thingy is in this section.
And this guy in the photo is my tour guide.
Well, ahem, he is kinda, sissy. =X
All the Japanese girls are rebut-ing for the love charms.
The love charms that everyone is after?
I didn't get any myself any of these cause I don't exactly know what it means.
Its in Japanese!!
Pray hard for a good boyfriend. =p
Line up to get some holy water.
Its mainly for students to get blessing for good results in exams.
Catch some holy water and wash your hands and mouth with it.
Temples is always about the LONG LONG stairs.
What if you're not paying attention,
and you actually fall down,
THERE?
=O
I think this would look very nice if its filled with sakura already.
Head back to the temple street after we finish with the temple.
This machine is so cool.
It makes some kinda cake dessert.
I bought a box of these. Its contains 6 pieces per box.
The tauke was so kind to give me 1 more piece. FREE.
Its 80 yen per piece.
Around RM3.00
Hygienic packaging. I like it. =p
The outer layer is like cake.
It contains lotus seed paste inside.
TASTE GOOD!!
This is another local kuih they are selling.
I see this selling everywhere.
We bought a box for testing purposes.
580 yen for 10 pieces.
Around RM22.
The white one I couldn't tell the taste.
Original I perhaps?
Looks like wan tan.
Taste like ma chi.
I think the wiring system here is messier than Malaysia's?
This is cute.
But try to look closely.
LOOK AT THE PRICE.
28000 yen?
Roughly around RM1072.
LOL INSANITY.
HAHA This is really cute.
I never notice till Belle mentioned.
Pigs are really so stupid.
They still can smile when they are about to be eaten. LOL.
We saw this gang of Japanese girls in Kimono taking photos together.
So I went over to ask if they could take a photo with ME!
LOL They actually don't know each other.
They just take photos with each other. XD
I'm taking advantage!! HAHAHAHAA.
Well, I did help them to take photo in return.
Their hp is so so big. O.o
This photo can give you the idea how I order stuff in Japan.
Look at the dummies of the ice-creams.
Don't know how to speak Japanese?
Its fine.
Just use body language!
Point at the ice-cream dummy you want.
Then show your finger.
*Not the international finger!!* >> specially dedicated to Ms Evonne
Show 1, 2, 3 or how many you want.
Now you know why they have so many food dummies outside their stall? XD
The green tea ice-cream we got.
The tauke was so kind to put extra green tea powder on the ice-cream.
Unfortunately,
it makes the ice-cream taste even worst.
LOL.
I don't like sweet tea. I like tea as original and as bitter as it was.
Same to green tea ice-cream.
Green tea shouldn't be sweet!! XDDD
Look at our face then you'll know whether it taste good or not.
For those who enjoy sweet green tea drinks.
I bet you would love this.
I didn't eat much of it.
I force my sis to finish ours. (Lucky thing we shared!!)
I discover some Japanese parents didn't care about their kids that much?
Look at this.
The mother looks like she forgotten the kid is behind her back.
She keep on moving around and the kid's head keep banging on the tiang.
Poor thing.
We can even buy ice-cream from the vending machine here!
This is what I got from the vending machine.
Vitamin C Lemon Bar ice-cream.
This is what will happen when you have limited places to park your cars?
HAHAHAHAHA.
This would remind me of some Facebook games.
Farmtown and Farmville. HEHE.
Listening to music on my iTouch since we were on a
3 hours plus journey to reach our hotel.
We pass by this theme park.
ITS CRAZY!!
LOL Friends,
don't ask me if I went on this ride.
If I were to,
I wouldn't come back alive. HAHAHAHA.
I wish to go on this.
They have this almost in every city.
Its not the tiny one.
Its a HUGE one.
This is the car they use when they have driving lessons.
Its better than our Kancil right!!
Our hotel for tonight.
This is a room for 2 people but it has 2 queen size beds inside.
Can fit 4 persons easily weh!!
Tonight we are not having any Japanese meal.
XDDDD
♥ GOOD NEWS FOR ME!! ♥
Ok so probably you would ask,
Why the heck you even go to Japan if you hate the food that much?
I want to come Japan because its one of the places I want to go a lot.
Its very expensive compared to Taiwan and Hong Kong
so its harder for me to afford if I want to go on my own.
Plus, it requires so many things for the visa.
Poor people like myself couldn't even apply.
I don't have money in my account. Thats why.
Why not Europe then?
I've been there already.
Better go to places that I have not been before.
Anyway,
We are having buffet as dinner in the hotel tonight.
I ♥ ♥ the desserts.
We had dozens of these petite cream puffs.
HAHAHAHAHA.
We went over to the mall beside the hotel.
I don't know why, but its almost no one in the mall.
Less than 10 I think? HAHAHAHA.
Feli's favourite.
Haagen Dazs.
They are using electronic tags weh!
What is Malaysia using??
Printed papers. XD
This look nice right? Cute?
Want to buy one for your kids?
Well, unfortunately,
IT AIN'T CLOTHES!!!!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Its just some wiping cloth for your hands after you finish with your dishes.
Want to buy one?
Its 980 yen each.
Around RM37.
There's vending machine in the middle of the mall!
And we are buying again. XD
Ice-cream vending machine again.
Hello Kitty vending machine?
I wonder what is it inside?
Cookies if not mistaken.
I couldn't find my surname here. =(
The variety of snacks that they have.
At first I thought,
this looks so nice. PINK!
But then when I see clearly,
its GARLIC!!!
EEEEWWWWWW.
Coloured garlic.......
Dad love strawberries.
He bought strawberries for supper every night.
Its big and sweet!
Unlike the one Malaysia.
Even if it is imported, it is still sour.
Why is it huh?
Its about 400yen.
Around RM15.
Cheap!!
The stuff we bought at the mall today. HEHE.
Its so cold in Kyoto now.
I could even write on my window. =)
I'm missing you a lot here.
I wonder if you miss me too.
=(
